Use filters to process only selected records or only records that changed recently, for example after a data import or a cleanup project. ## Prerequisites - **Data Quality Check** is enabled on the **Data Quality Setup** page. - One or more **Data Policies** are **Active**, with validation rules or duplicate checks configured. - Records exist for the selected table. ## Steps 1. Press **Alt+Q** to open the **Tell Me** search. 2. Enter **Data Quality Assessment** and select the page from the results. 3. In the **Run** field, select **Specific Policy** or **All Active Policies**. 4. Select the **Policy ID** or the entity you want to assess. 5. In the **Check Type** field, select **Validation**, **Duplicate check**, or **Both**. 6. Define one or more filters to narrow the records processed: - **Created After Date** – process only records created after the date you enter. - **From Date** and **Till Date** – process only records within the date range you enter. 7. Select **Run Assessment**. ### Results Business Central processes only the records that match your filter criteria and stores the results under a new **Assessment Run ID**. For example, when you set a **Created After Date** of 01-06-2026 for **Customer** records, the assessment ignores all records created on or before that date.
