# Use the Standard task template

The **Standard task** setup integrates Quality Management with manufacturing. See [Manufacturing Integration](/business-central/docs/bc-manufacturing-integration).

| Field | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Standard Task | Select a standard task code. |
| Routing Status | Select a routing status: **[Blank]**, **Planned**, **In Progress**, **Finished**. The standard task is retrieved from the following table: 83 Item Journal Line. |
| Measurement Template | Select a measurement template. When an incident of type **Material** is created, the system searches for a measurement template in this sequence: 1. **Standard task** templates 2. **Service item group** templates 3. **Item** templates 4. **Item category** templates |
