# Use PDF stationeries for attachments

Use this task when you want to add a PDF template to your attachments in Notification Management.

## Steps

1. Make sure the PDF stationery is stored in a network location.
2. Create a notification with an **Attachment Generator** activity, or use an existing notification.
3. Edit the properties of the **Attachment Generator** activity.
4. Select the attachment line and select **Stationeries**.
5. On the **Stationeries** page, for the selected report, enter the **Description** first.
6. Select **Import** and import the stationery template stored in your network drive. Once imported, the **Stationary Defined** field is selected.
7. Select **OK** to close the page.
8. Process the notification.
9. Open the attachment in the output and check the result. The stationery applies automatically.

> **Note**
> 
> There are no special settings for the stationery. In some cases, depending on your stationery layout, you may need to adjust your report layouts.
