You can set up the package variables used with production bills of material as codes. You can then assign package variables to a production BOM. When the BOM is used to calculate components for a production order, the program substitutes Anywhere Mobility Solutions package variables with inventory items according to the assigned item variant variables.
Steps
In the search box, enter Package Variables, and then choose the related link.
On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New.
On the new line, fill in the fields.
