The Lifecycle Type table records information about all lifecycle types. The table contains information about which table a lifecycle is connected to and which codeunit is used for specific settings and functions.
Steps
In the search box, enter Lifecycle Types, and then select the related link.
Choose New to create a new record.
Fill in the following fields:
Field | Description |

Code | Specify a code to identify the lifecycle type. |
Description | Describes the lifecycle type. |
Table No. + Name | Select the table for which the lifecycle is created. |
Setup Table No. + Name | Select the table that controls the behaviour of documents in a specific state. |
Codeunit No. + Name | Select the codeunit with the specific settings for the lifecycle. |
