Setting up item life cycles

Prev Next

Lifecycles use states and state transitions to control business processes. Refer to the STAEDEAN-Common LifeCycle section for the basic setup.

Adding Item LifeCycle settings

From the LifeCycle States page, provide additional settings for an Item LifeCycle. The settings are available through a setup table specified in the LifeCycle Type. The lifecycle type is inserted when the Item LifeCycle sample file is imported.

To maintain the settings:

  1. Select Settings in the Process group on the LifeCycle States page to provide settings for the selected state.

  2. Check one or more of the following fields to select or deselect the checks for the selected lifecycle state.
