# Set up the Outlook Writer endpoint

Use the **Outlook Writer** endpoint to send notifications using the default mail client installed on your system.

## Steps

1. Create a notification and insert the element **OUTLOOKWRITER**.
2. On the elements line, select **Edit**.
3. Select **Check Configuration** to see if there are Anywhere Mobility Solutions configuration errors.
4. Select **OK**.
