# Set up proper shipping names

You can set up codes with an associated proper shipping name and other informational settings, then assign these codes to items. You can customise shipping reports to display an item's proper shipping name instead of its standard description.

## Steps

1. In the search box, enter **Proper Shipping Names**, and then choose the related link.
2. On the **Home** tab, in the **New** group, choose **New**.
3. On the new line, fill in the fields.
