# Set up lot aging categories

You can set up the lot aging categories used with lot aging profiles as codes. You can then assign categories to an aging profile and enter corresponding durations for each category.

## Steps

1. In the search box, enter **Lot Aging Categories**, and then choose the related link.
2. On the **Home** tab, in the **New** group, choose **New**.
3. Fill in a line with a code and a description for each lot aging category.
