# Set up delivery trips

In Transport and Deliveries, the delivery trip plans and processes transports. The **Departure Date** on the delivery trip is the date the transport is loaded and departs from the premises.

To manage the loading, shipping, and posting process, the following flow is available from the **Delivery Trip** page:
