# Set up data collection alert groups

You can set up the groups that receive data collection alerts as codes. You can then assign these codes to data collection lines. When a data collection process fulfils the criteria (such as a missed collection or recorded information that does not meet specified values) defined for the associated data collection line's assigned alert group, an alert is created as a record in the database and a notification is sent to the group's members.

## Steps

1. In the search box, enter **Data Collection Alert Groups**, and then choose the related link.
2. On the **Home** tab, in the **New** group, choose **New**.
3. On the new line, fill in the fields.
4. Repeat the procedure for each new alert group you want to set up. You can set up Anywhere Mobility Solutions number of alert groups.
