You can resize a formula. This is particularly useful when you have assigned a piece of equipment to the formula and want the batch size to match the equipment's capacity.
Steps
In the search box, enter Formulas, and then choose the related link.
Open the relevant formula card. On the Versions FastTab, select the formula version you want to resize and choose Edit Version. The Production Formula Version page appears.
The Formula Batch Size fact box displays the formula's batch size quantities, with input and output fields for both weight and volume.
Choose the batch size quantity you want to modify. If the formula is being resized to match equipment capacity, select the same unit of measure used by the equipment.
On the Resize Batch page, enter the new batch size and choose Yes.
When the new size is entered, the program automatically recalculates the other batch size quantities by looking at the yield percentages defined for each component as well as the entire formula. The defined quantities for the formula components are adjusted to account for the new batch size while maintaining the yield percentages.
