# Reschedule production activities

You can instruct the program to reschedule the production activities assigned to a piece of equipment. The times at which these activities are scheduled are automatically adjusted so that each activity directly follows the one scheduled immediately before it.

## Steps

1. In the search box, enter **Production Sequence**, and then choose the related link.
2. Enter values in the **Location** and **Date** fields.

The lines on the **Production Sequence** page display equipment records based on the values specified in these fields.
3. Use the **Expand** icon to display the production activities scheduled to a particular piece of equipment.
4. To rearrange the order in which a scheduled production activity is performed, select it and on the **Actions** tab, in the **General** group, choose **Move Up** or **Move Down**. The line moves one space in the selected direction.
5. With the equipment record selected, on the **Actions** tab, in the **General** group, choose **Reschedule**.

The starting and ending times of the production activities assigned to the equipment are modified so that there is no overlap in the scheduled activities.
