When creating a terminal market sales order, you can select an available item from the Terminal Market Item Availability page and then repack it as a separate item. This separate item is entered on a new sales order line, letting you make last-minute changes to the packaging arrangement in which an item is sold.
For example, Item A represents a case of 10 units, while Item B represents a case of five units. If the customer wants two cases of Item B, but you only have cases of Item A available, you can repack an available case of Item A into two cases of Item B.
Note
The program uses the value in the Units per Parcel field on the Item card to convert units of an available item into units of a repacked one. You cannot repack items that do not have defined units per parcel information. In addition, the resulting quantity of units from a repack must be a whole number, you cannot repack three units into two units, for example.
