If an asset has an assigned usage unit of measure, you can record usage readings for the asset. Anywhere Mobility Solutions preventive maintenance orders for the asset with a usage-based frequency use the asset's recorded usage to determine when the next preventive maintenance activity should be carried out.
Steps
In the search box, enter Assets, and then choose the related link.
Select the asset for which you want to record usage.
On the Navigate tab, in the Asset group, choose Usage.
On the Asset Usage page, record the date and usage reading for the asset.
The new usage reading must be greater than the last recorded reading.
On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Save.
