He wants to inspect certain parameters of item 1900-S PARIS Guest Chair, Black. ## Pre-requisites - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central - Cronus International Ltd. demonstration database - STAEDEAN Quality Management demo set ## Tasks ### Create a question list 1. CRONUS International Ltd. > **Departments** > **STAEDEAN Product Management** > **Quality Management**. 2. Click **Administration** > **Questions Setup** > **Question List**. 3. Create new questions. For more information, see: [Create and maintain questions](/business-central/docs/bc-create-and-maintain-questions). #### Example - Question list The following table shows an example of questions and possible values. In this table, some questions are generic (such as Color, Length, Width, and Height) meaning they apply to all items that fall under the same category, not just this particular item. | Question Code | Scope | Description | Type | Boolean Value | Numeric Target Value | Lookup Value | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Broken | Item | Broken Chair | Boolean | No | - | - | | Paint | Item | Paint Quality | Boolean | Yes | - | - | | Color | Item | Paint Color | Lookup | - | - | Black | | Blue | | Red | | White | | Length | Item | Chair Length | Numeric | - | 100 | - | ### Set numeric values for a question Set the question tolerances for a **Numeric** question from the **Questions card**. The **Question Tolerances** fast tab is dynamic and only visible when the question type is **NUMERIC**. #### Example - Numeric Set the question tolerance value as per the example below: | From Value | To Value | Score | Result Status | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 100 | 100 | 150 | Accepted | | 99 | 101 | 100 | Accepted | | 98 | 102 | 50 | Ambiguous | | 97 | 103 | 25 | Ambiguous | | 96 | 104 | 1 | Rejected | > [!NOTE] > **Note** Comparison of actual recorded value against the value defined for a question happens in a top-down approach. For this example, the target value is 100 and therefore gets the highest score. From 99 to 101 is still Accepted but scores lower. ### Set lookup values for a question The **Question Lookup Values** fast tab is dynamic and only visible when the question type is **LOOKUP**. #### Example - Lookup Set the question lookup value as per the example below: | Lookup | Target Value | Score | | --- | --- | --- | | Black | Yes | 10 | | Blue | Yes | 10 | | Red | Yes | 5 | | White | No | 1 | > [!NOTE] > Note > > Comparison of actual recorded value against the value defined for a question happens in a top-down approach. ### Set target value for an item Question Code Color has four values, but the target value for item 1900-S PARIS Guest Chair, Black is BLACK. 1.
