You can override and modify the formula's density if desired. ## Steps 1. In the search box, enter **Formulas**, and then choose the related link. 2. Open the relevant formula card. On the **Versions** FastTab, select the formula version whose density you want to override. Make sure the **Status** field is not set to **Certified**. 3. Choose **Edit Version** to open the formula version card. 4. On the **Actions** tab, in the **Functions** group, choose **Density Override**. The **Density Override** page appears. 5. In the **Hold Constant** field, select the formula property, weight, volume, or density, that will remain fixed. 6. Change the batch size information for one of the two properties that is not held constant. You can also change the yield percentage of the formula's weight or volume. The system uses the newly entered value and the value held constant to calculate a new value for the third formula property. 7. Choose **OK**. ## Related - [Define basic manufacturing processes](/bc-define-basic-manufacturing-processes.md)
