# MESSAGEEDITOR activity

In Business Integration Solutions, use the **MESSAGEEDITOR** activity to allow user input during pipeline processing.

## Usage

Use this activity when you want a user to make changes to the message.

## Concept

The **Message Editor** allows user interaction while processing data. Users can make changes to the message.

Notification Management benefits from using this **Message Editor** instead of **OutlookWriter** for performance gains. It is recommended to use the **Scheduler** and **SMTP Writer** in the pipeline.

Message ➡️ [Message Editor] ➡️ Modified message
