# Mfg. Output - Process

A successful migration of a process depends on the references these processes have.

- When a process has no references to custom tables or fields, export it from the old version and import it in the new version.

## Steps

> Make sure you have already set up the [prerequisites](/business-central/docs/bc-manufacturing-consumption-output-prerequisites) for this process.

1. Select Manufacturing Integration. Output in the main menu.

2. The next page appears. Enter the newly created production order number, or use **F6=Lookup** to select the order from a list. Confirm with **F4=OK**.

3. In the next page, enter the Operation No. Enter 10 for the first operation, or use **F6=Lookup** to select the operation from the production order. Press **F4=OK** to continue.

4. The next step requests the time spent on an operation. Enter a time (for example, 20 minutes) and confirm with **F4=OK**.

5. After the run time, enter the output quantity. Enter an amount (for example, four) and press **F4=OK**.

6. After pressing **F4=OK**, an output journal line is created in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and is then posted via the Job Queue.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note** To see the result in D365 BC, go to the released production order card and go to **Related** > **Order** > **Entries** > **Capacity Ledger Entries**. A new entry appears. No item ledger entries were created for this entry, because the output of items is only linked with the last step in the routing plan.

7. The process returns to the enter operation step. Enter the last operation (40) or select it from the list via **F6=Lookup**. Press **F4=OK** to continue.

8. Enter the run time in the next step. Enter some time (for example, 10 minutes) and press **F4=OK** to continue.

9. Enter the output quantity. Enter a number (for example, four) and press **F4=OK** to post both capacity and output.

> **Note** To see the result in D365 BC, go to the released production order card and go to **Related** > **Order** > **Entries** > **Item Ledger Entries**. A new output entry appears with the quantity specified.

> Then close the window and go to **Related** > **Order** > **Entries** > **Capacity Ledger Entries**. A new entry for the Control appears.
