The information on the standing order's header and lines is copied to the corresponding fields on the new sales order. Set up a standing order before performing this activity. > [!NOTE] > Note > > If a standing order has been [assigned to a delivery route](/business-central/docs/bc-assign-standing-orders-to-delivery-routes), you cannot use it to manually generate sales orders. ## Steps 1. In the search box, enter **Standing Sales Orders**, and then choose the related link. 2. Open the relevant standing sales order. 3. On the **General** FastTab, in the **Next Order Date** field, enter the order date you want to assign to the new sales order. 4. On the **Actions** tab, in the **General** group, choose **Make Order**, and then choose **Yes**. A message appears informing you that a new sales order has been created. You can see the new sales order in the sales order list. The standing order is not deleted. ## Related - [Create standing orders](/bc-create-standing-orders.md) - [Assign standing orders to delivery routes](/bc-assign-standing-orders-to-delivery-routes.md) - [Establish standing sales orders](/bc-establish-standing-sales-orders.md)
