# Manually combine item lots

If several lots of the same item share a warehouse bin, you can instruct the program to combine them into a single item lot. This is useful when several lots blend together as they are stored in a bin and become indistinguishable from one another.

> You can instruct the program to automatically combine item lots if they are assigned to a fixed production bin.

## Steps

1. In the search box, enter **Bin Status**, and then choose the related link.
2. Select a bin content line for which several item lots exist.
3. On the **Actions** tab, in the **General** group, choose **Lots**. The **Combine Warehouse Lots** page appears.
4. On the **Actions** tab, in the **General** group, choose **Combine Lots**.
