In Business Integration Solutions, the Lifecycle event triggers a pipeline based on a change in the defined lifecycle state transitions.

Use this event to export Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central data in a controlled manner, based on lifecycle state transitions.

In the Lifecycle event settings, you can specify on which lifecycle state change the event should trigger. For example, you define a lifecycle for items with four status codes. Once the status code changes to state code number four, the item information exports immediately.
A Lifecycle event carries a record set and you can batch-process it.
Note
To use the Lifecycle event, you must first define the lifecycle and lifecycle states. Note that the Lifecycle event does not detect changes to the Status field of a certain record, for example, a sales order. Use the Record Change event for that purpose.
