# Handle multi-item containers

As of release 21.4.202310.0 and 22.4.202310.0, Food Manufacturing & Distribution supports multi-item containers in various processes:

- Split Container
- Change Lot Status for a Container
- Creating and working with warehouse picks
- Creating and working with warehouse put-aways
- Creating and working with warehouse movements
- Undo Pick
- Anywhere - Food processes:
  - **Bin-to-Bin Movement**: validation added that the destination container can accommodate the item being moved.
  - **Consumption**
  - **Container Management**: validation added that the destination container can accommodate the item being moved.
  - **Create Container**: validation added that the container can accommodate the item.
  - **Output**: in addition to the container type validation for item accommodation, other content is also considered.
  - **Physical**: validation added that the item on the journal line can be accommodated in the container on the journal line, taking into account the possibility that the container may appear on other journal lines.
  - **Warehouse Movement**: validation added that the destination container can accommodate the item being moved and that an entire container can be moved with multiple items.
  - **Warehouse Pick**: the possibility of several items in a container is taken into account when determining if the entire container can be picked.
  - **Warehouse Put-Away**: movement of an entire container is only allowed if the contents can exist as a warehouse container.
  - **Warehouse Receipt**
  - **Warehouse Shipment**

You can use containers in many processes in Food Manufacturing & Distribution. The following table lists the processes and links to the specific help content:
