# Find quality control sample entries

When inventory is written off via item journal, you can find entries in:

- **Item Ledger Entries**
- **Value Entries**
- **Warehouse Entries** (when applicable)

Entries appear as negative adjustments with a specific Quality Control sample number as the document number/source number reference.

## Steps - Check posted quantity in a completed Quality Control activity

1. Go to the **Completed Quality Control Activity List**.
2. Select the appropriate completed Quality Control activity.
3. Click on the quantity in the **Sample Quantity Posted** field.
4. The corresponding item ledger entries open.
