# Enter and post bin movements

When you create a movement between bins and the warehouse location is not set up to use put-aways or picks, use the bin reclassification journal to post warehouse activities.

## Steps

1. In the search box, enter **Bin Reclass. Journal**, and then choose the related link.
2. Fill in the fields on the first line.

If the item has a default bin assigned, the program automatically fills in the **Bin Code** and **New Bin Code** fields with the item's default bin when you enter the location code on the line. You can change the bins in these fields if necessary.
3. Repeat this procedure for each bin reclassification journal line you want to post.
4. After filling in the fields, post the journal.
