Food Manufacturing & Distribution provides two levels of support for distribution processes in Food Manufacturing & Distribution-related companies. The first level is part of the Food Manufacturing & Distribution core and is available to all Food Manufacturing & Distribution customers. This level includes support for: - Using extra charges for items at the time of receipt of goods, rather than at the time of posting the invoice - Executing truckload receiving, where selected receipts are handled as one instead of order by order - Terminal Market functionality, where fresh produce is sold from several vendors and collected on one sales invoice and paid immediately - Using lot settlement functionality to let the sales results of a lot determine the actual purchase price The second level is available as a separate module and supports functionality such as: - Using Pickup Load functionality to combine delivery of goods with pickup of orders from vendors - Using Standard Sales Orders as an extension of the standard D365 BC blanket sales order functionality - Delivery trips that manage several deliveries at several addresses on a given day by a given truck For more information on level 1 support, see [Food distribution](/business-central/docs/bc-food-distribution). For more information on level 2 support, see [Additional distribution functionality](/business-central/docs/bc-additional-distribution-functionality). ## Related - [Food distribution](/bc-food-distribution.md) - [Additional distribution functionality](/bc-additional-distribution-functionality.md) - [Food Manufacturing & Distribution](/bc-food-manufacturing-and-distribution.md)
