Create a service object from a project deliverable. 2. Make sure that items requiring servicing are part of a service item group marked as **Create Service Item**. 3. When an item is posted from the project planning line, a check is made: 1. Is there a service object for the project? 2. Is the item part of a service item group marked as **Create Service Item**? 3. When both conditions are **true**, a service item is created and added to the service object list. > [!NOTE] > Note > > The service item is created including the first-level components as used in the production or assembly BOM used in the project. ## Related - [Service integration](/bc-service-integration.md)
