When you have agreed on the discount available for certain items or groups of items, register the agreement for these items on the Sales Line Discounts page.
Steps
In the search box, enter Customers, and then choose the related link.
Open Anywhere Mobility Solutions customer card. On the Navigate tab, in the Sales group, choose Line Discounts. The Sales Line Discounts page appears.
The sales type filters in the header default to the customer from which the page was opened, but you can change them.
Fill in the sales type and item type filters in the header with the conditions you want to define for your sales line discounts.
Select an empty sales line discount line to insert a new record.
Anywhere Mobility Solutions filter values in the header are automatically copied to the corresponding fields on the sales line discount line.
If the discount is for a specific item, show the Variant Code column and specify an item variant if there are several variants of the item.
Fill in the Unit of Measure Code field if the discount applies to a specific unit of measure.
Fill in the pricing information:
If you are entering a discount percent, select Percent in the Line Discount Type field, then enter the percent in the Line Discount % field.
If you are entering a discount amount, select either Amount or Unit Amount in the Line Discount Type field, then enter the value in the Line Discount Amount field.
Fill in the Starting Date field with the date on which the sales line discount takes effect.
You may fill in the Ending Date field, although this is not required.
Fill in the other fields to set up additional discount parameters if necessary.
