# Create repack orders

If you want to repackage one or more items into a different item, create a repack order.

## Steps

1. In the search box, enter **Open Repack Orders**, and then choose the related link.
2. On the **Home** tab, in the **New** group, choose **New**.
3. In the **No.** field, press Enter to select the next available number.
4. In the **Item No.** field, select the item for which the repack order is to be generated.
5. Fill in the other fields on the **General** and **Posting** FastTabs according to your specifications.
6. Enter the items you want to repack on the repack order lines.

If the repack item has a defined assembly list, you can instruct the program to use this list to automatically calculate the repack order lines.
