Careful setup of the formula master data is required to work correctly with the system.
Steps
In the search box, enter Formulas, and then choose the related link.
On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New to open an empty formula card.
The top part of the formula card is the formula header, and the bottom part contains the formula versions.
Data entered on the formula header applies to the whole formula. Enter the formula's production components on the formula version. Every formula must have at least one version.
In the No. field, enter the appropriate formula number, which identifies the BOM uniquely. Anywhere Mobility Solutions combination of numbers and letters can be used.
In the Description field, enter a description for the formula.
On the Versions FastTab, choose New Version. The Production Formula Version page appears.
The Production Formula Version page contains the formula lines on which you enter the data for the items to be processed and other production BOMs. You can also use formula lines to enter necessary text.
Fill in the fields.
When you are done, change the Status field to Certified.
