Choose the ![Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature](https://cdn.document360.io/da662430-6a41-47b1-8c7e-7e4ac37a9756/Images/Documentation/search_small(3).png) icon (Alt+Q), enter **Inventory Pick**, and click the relevant link. 2. Select an inventory pick from the list and click **Edit** to modify it. 3. Click **Container Worksheet** to open the **Container Worksheet** page. 4. Click **Create Container** to create a new container record. ## Steps - Create container from a warehouse receipt A **Create Container** wizard is available from the warehouse receipt line to support cross-docking. See also: [Cross-dock containers](/business-central/docs/bc-cross-docking-containers). 1. Select the lines to include in the container. 2. From the **Line** menu, click the **Create Container** action. 3. Select the container type and optionally enter a **License Plate No.** 4. **Close** the container. You can also close it afterwards from the **Container Worksheet**. The container is created and the selected receiving lines are added as container details. When done, open the **Container Worksheet** from the warehouse receipt process menu to review and close the containers. From the **Container Worksheet**, drill down to the **Container card** and print a container label. > [!NOTE] > **Note** Containers on the receiving side can only be used for cross-docking. When no cross-dock opportunities are found for the receipt line, an error appears. ## Related - [Working with containers](/bc-working-with-containers.md) - [Set up container types](/bc-set-up-container-types.md) - [Process containers](/bc-process-containers.md) - [Cross-dock containers](/bc-cross-docking-containers.md) - [Use miscellaneous containers](/bc-use-miscellaneous-containers.md)
