# Create Contact - Prerequisites

Execute the following setup configuration before running this demo process.

## Numbering series setup

To create a new contact in the process, define the following numbering series.

1. Go to **Finance** > **Setup** > **No. Series**.
2. The No. Series CONT must be defined:

3. Select **Lines** to set the Start and End No.
