# Create bin movements

The **Bin Status** page displays the items stored in each bin for a particular location. Use this page to direct the movement of an item from one bin to another.

## Steps

1. In the search box, enter **Bin Status**, and then choose the related link.
2. Select the item you want to move from its current bin.
3. On the **Actions** tab, in the **General** group, choose **Move**. The **Build Warehouse Activity** page appears.

The lines on the **Build Warehouse Activity** page display information about the item selected on the **Bin Status** page.
4. Fill in the bin movement information on the lines as appropriate.
5. On the **Actions** tab, in the **General** group, choose one of the following:

| Choice | Result |
| --- | --- |
| Register Movement | Registers the movements specified on the lines. |
| Create Put-Away | Creates a warehouse put-away based on the entries on the lines. |
