# Control sub type - LiteralHTML

The LiteralHTML control is a versatile control in the framework that supports layout changes not available out of the box in the Anywhere Mobility Solutions Framework. Due to its versatility, some limitations apply:

- The control displays either the expression or the label, not both.
- Because the control breaks out of the framework, it is not aware of the controls before or after it. It stays part of the group it is placed in. As a result, the previous control's new line is ignored.
- Displaying HTML tags as text is not supported, because the control supports them. For example, when adding the expression `<html>` it parses as `` and may break the page.
