Consuming from a production container follows the same process as consuming from a regular warehouse container in the consumption area. You can consume less than the quantity on the container, but not more.

Once consumption from a container is finished, the following options remain:

• Delete the pallet and deal with the remaining loose material manually.

• Delete the assignment to the production order:

  • If the production container has only a single item on it, it remains in existence and can be moved back into the warehouse if applicable.

  • If the production container contains several items, the container is destroyed and the items become loose.

• If the container is empty because all material on it has been consumed, the container is destroyed.
