# Confirm the engineering change order to engineering

Processing the Engineering Change Order moves it to the **Archived Engineering Change Orders**. Optionally, create an additional connection to confirm (handshake) to engineering that the change has been completed. Alternatively, create an export of the **Rejected** and **Approved** records from the EC Staging tables to make this handshake.
