# Assign vendor certification types to vendors

You can assign vendor certification types to each vendor to review the certifications obtained by a particular vendor. Set up the relevant vendor certification types before performing this activity.

The following steps apply to both vendors and vendor order addresses. For simplicity, only a vendor is described in detail.

## Steps

1. In the search box, enter **Vendors**, and then choose the related link.
2. Open the relevant vendor card.
3. On the **Navigate** tab, in the **Vendor** group, choose **Certifications**. The **Vendor Certifications** page appears.
4. In the **Type** field, select the vendor certification type you want to assign to the vendor.
5. Fill in the other remaining fields on the line.
