You can link a standing order to a delivery route assigned to a particular customer. When you run the Make Delivery Orders batch job, the program automatically generates sales orders from standing orders assigned to customer delivery routes.
Steps
In the search box, enter Customers, and then choose the related link.
Open the relevant customer card.
On the Navigate tab, in the Sales group, choose Delivery Routing Matrix.
On the Delivery Routing Matrix page, select the day of the week on which you will assign a standing order.
In the Standing Order No. field, select a standing order that exists for the customer.
Note
A standing order's Next Order Date is used by the program when the Make Delivery Orders batch job automatically generates sales orders. When you assign a standing sales order to a weekday in the Delivery Routing Matrix page, make sure the order's Next Order Date falls on the appropriate day of the week.
