When using warehouse put-aways, you can link existing containers in the receiving zone and move them to the correct bin. You can also create new containers and link them to the items being moved to their bins.
Adding an existing container to a warehouse put-away "take" or "place" line
Steps
In the search box, enter Warehouse Put-away, and then choose the related link.
From the list, select the correct line.
On the Home tab, in the Manage group, choose Edit.
Use the lookup in the License Plate field on the line and select the correct container from the list.

Steps
In the search box, enter Warehouse Put-away, and then choose the related link.
From the list, select the correct line.
On the Home tab, in the Manage group, choose Edit.
Select the correct "place" line and on the Lines FastTab, select Functions and then New Container. Fill in the following fields:
Field | Description |

License Plate | Change the license plate if necessary. |
Container Type Code | Choose a code from the list. |
Description | Change the description of the container if necessary. |
