New or changed features in Release 10.0.45.49 (September 2025) – Security and Compliance Studio.
Environment snapshot export and comparison
- Export security configuration snapshots to XML from the Snapshot page. XML files are stored in File Share → Security Snapshots with full metadata.
- Import XML snapshots as External Snapshots, validate structure, and manage with Replace, Upload, and Download actions; all changes are audit-tracked.
- Compare internal vs. external snapshots side‑by‑side to highlight differences in roles, privileges, and mappings.
For more information, refer to:
Segregation of Data (SoD) for Customers and Vendors
- Use XDS policies to restrict a user to one or more assigned customers/vendors via a new Segregation of Data page.
- Activate/deactivate mappings per user; if no mappings exist, access defaults to all customers/vendors for backward compatibility.
For more information, refer to Segregation of data.
Role allocation request and SoD conflict
- SoD conflicts are automatically checked during role approvals in Security Requests.
- Approvers can reject or override with justification; delegated actions are fully audit‑logged.
- Workflow updated to avoid stuck requests by reverting to Change Request or Cancelled when needed.
For more information, refer to Approve security request.
Notification for Sensitive Role Allocation
- Configure email notifications for marked sensitive roles from Setup → Email Notification Setup.
- Rules support role selection, templates, notifying the assigned user, and additional recipients.
- Emails fire asynchronously on manual assignment, via security request, or stand‑in; events are logged in Security Audit Log.
For more information, refer to:
Number Sequence support for Security Requests
- New non‑editable Request ID generated from a configurable number sequence in SCS Parameters.
- Supports reuse and sync with D365 Number Sequence reference; prevents duplicate references.

Deprecation of License Optimization
- Removed the License Optimization workspace and License Count tab along with related navigation and controls.
- Parameters page continues to work; back‑end license data remains available for reference.
