New or changed features in Release 10.0.44.69 (August 2025) – Business Integration Solutions.
1. Connectivity Studio
1.1 Run "Dynamic Action" as a Different User
This release introduces the ability to run Dynamic Actions as a different user, providing two key components:
- Run As (User Impersonation): Administrators can now configure a "Run as" user for each Dynamic Action. This allows functional users (such as warehouse workers) to trigger EDI messages and other actions using the permissions of a designated service, without needing direct access to all underlying data tables. To use this feature, open the Dynamic Action setup form, locate the new "Run as" field, and select the user account whose permissions should be used for execution. This approach maintains security boundaries and supports complex scenarios, such as multi-legal entity processing, without broadening user access rights.
- Audit Trail: When the "Run as" feature is used, the system can record a detailed audit trail of all Dynamic Action executions. To enable audit logging, go to Connectivity Studio > Setup > Connectivity studio parameters > Features and turn on the audit trail option. The audit trail records who triggered each action, which user context was used, when it was executed, and what message or web service was involved. The Dynamic Action setup form now includes an Audit Log button, providing direct access to execution history and impersonation records for each configuration. Audit records include the original user, run-as user, execution time, message details, and company context. Historical audit data can be managed and cleaned up using the standard history cleanup activity.
2. EDI Studio
2.1 Accept all warnings
You can now use an 'accept all warnings' button at the header level of staging journals, making it easier to acknowledge all warnings for the entire journal in one action. This feature provides the same convenience previously available only at the line level, streamlining the review and acceptance process for staging journals.
